The Haitian Experience

My name is Mark. I am a recent graduate of Dartmouth College, and I am spending the 2008 summer in a small village roughly 5 miles off the southern coast of Haiti. Vilaj Espwa (Hope Village) is a haven for Haitian children whose day to day lives are dictated by hunger and generally sub-standard living conditions. My primary contributions here are in the areas of public health and athletic organization.
